Shaun Monnelly’s Senior Spotlight: by Janina Zienkiewicz

Shaun Monnelly has been a tap and jazz dancer for nine years. He has worked with The Dance Studio of Manchester and Granite State Dance Center. He has performed in at least ten shows, including yearly recitals and an opening act for the New Hampshire-based band, Recycled Percussion.

Monnelly goes to dance practice every week and still manages to balance his job, school work, relationships and more. This balance does not come easily, as he has to squeeze in homework between classes during the school day.

While Monnelly plans to continue dancing after high school it is not his intended career. He is planning to pursue a job within the STEM field.
